A lot of people have been asking because it's been kinds quiet around here, but it will happen. However, this year we are taking a MUCH different approach to the show. Since everybody and their Dad has a highly polished fancy motorcycle show with all kinds of ultra-slick promotion, we are saying "fuck that" and creating something more organic, lo-fi and punk-rock. Basically a huge party for you and your motorcycle. Our recipe is still the same as it has always been - 25 invited bikes inside and whoever the hell else wants to show up on the outside. We will have some cool prizes, more than likely a vendor area and some ice cold beverages but not much else because we are stripping this fancy and now typical bike show formula thing down to maximize the party power.
August 22nd is the date - the location is a mind blower and we will release info about it soon. That's all you need to know for now....

After 17 years in the Design Department at Ford Motor Company (a company which is, and will always be, very close to my heart) I have decided to make a move to another company which is as close to my heart, but perhaps a little closer to my soul - Harley-Davidson. In early February I will be joining the Design Department at H-D as it's new Director. I cannot express in words the feelings I have for both leaving Ford and joining Harley-Davidson. It was not an easy decision to make and I never took it lightly. I have walked away from everything I built for myself and my team at Ford and I will miss it all I'm sure - especially every one of my friends in the PD department. Some of you are as close to me as siblings and I will forever be honored to call you my friends. To all of you, I'm sure we will meet again a little further down the road...

A couple of winters back when Dong and I shot one of the best ShuVL's on the planet for the cover of Greasy Kulture. Terry's bike raised the bar about a hundred notches. Our photo skills struggled to do it justice, but in the end the feature turned out alright.

Always a highlight of a trip to the bay area is a visit to 4Q. Thanks to Max and Bud for the warm hospitality and open doors. The new place is perfect Max! The ride we took that night will be etched into my mind till times end.

...some are much better that others. I'm posting this from Cologne, Germany where it's been raining and gray since I arrived 10 days ago. Alone in Cologne, memories of days like the one above get me through.
